Apply for a Library Card: A library card is the key to use the library catalog, Online Databases and eMedia collection. If you are currently living in incorporated Naperville, you can apply online.
Assignment Alert: This service ensures that books in high demand are placed on "Building Use Only" status. Please allow advance notice of three weeks. A copy of the assignment helps us find the most appropriate materials for you.

Family Reading Service: With all the materials available at the Naperville Public Library, it's often difficult to choose. The children's services staff has designed the Family Reading Service to help. You may want only books for your children to enjoy or you may want only books-on-CD that will appeal to everyone in your family. Getting a bag of library materials designed just for your family is simple.
Materials Purchase Suggestion: Naperville Public Library encourages suggestions from the public for items that have not been purchased for our collection through our regular ongoing selection and ordering process. The library purchases most popular items that are on bestseller lists. This service is for NPL Card holders ONLY.
Personal Reading List: With all the books that are in the library, we know that it is often difficult to choose a book to read. You can ask a friend, brother, or sister for suggestions, but what they enjoy reading, may not be what you enjoy. Everyone has different tastes. So we have designed Personal Reading List program to help. We will create a reading list of books just for you!
Teacher Request: This service enables teachers to request up to ten items per topic/author for classroom/group use. Please give us seven days advance notice.
