Get a Library Card!
Eligibility: Currently residing in incorporated Naperville, and applying for a library card for the first time.

How to get a card?
  1. Complete online application form.
  2. Upon form submission, a response will be provided to your application within two business days.
  3. Upon completion of processing your application, our staff will e-mail your library barcode to you. Our Online Databases collection will then be available to you for 60 days.
  4. You may go to Patron Registration Desk at either Nichols Library, Naper Boulevard Library, or 95th Street Library to pick up and activate your library card. Let the Library staff know that you registered for the card on the Web and be prepared to show a photo ID and two forms of identification with address. Residents age 18 and older may register for their own library cards in person at any Naperville Public Library facility. A parent or guardian must have a Naperville Public Library card and must be present and sign for the library card of a minor.
