Can't find the materials you want at the Naperville Public Library? We'll look for items not owned by our Library at another library! We can search both State and out-of-state libraries. The Library participates in ILLINET, the statewide interlibrary loan network, and OCLC, a worldwide interlibrary loan network.

• The library does not request audio-visual materials.
• The circulation period for Interlibrary loan materials is based on the loan period extended by the lending library.
• Failure to pick up a requested book or photocopy will result in a $5.00 Non-Pickup fee.
• This service is for NPL Card holders ONLY.

For faster service:

2. Use OCLC First Search - Find titles other libraries own and order them through Electronic ILL. By submitting an OCLC request, Patron is responsible for the payment of any fees incurred according to NPL InterLibrary Loan Policy.
3. If you don't find it anywhere then fill out our Online Interlibrary Loan Request Form to submit your request. Please make sure you have entered correct information (Including spelling).
